Avactis Store Styles & Templates is a one person operation.
These are but 2 domains in this business.
I have a hosting site a web design site plus over 50 other web sites that I own and operate.
So as you might imagine my time is limited to how much I can do.

I have been on the web since 1995 and much of that time was spent learning how a computer is run and how to make graphics. So almost from the beginning I have done web pages. First my own personal website and then many others.

Primarily I got into the hosting part of it because what was available was cost prohibitive for someone who owned 50 domains. The cheaper companies were not reliable. After going through providers like Grant went through Richmond I found a place that could house my sites with an uptime of over 99% (closer to 100% for the last 2 years).

I know this because my hosting company is monitored 24/7 every 10 minutes from 3 places around the world. That service is provided by Alertra and well worth it for any business.

For years I have looked into shopping carts to no avail. Yes there were plenty of carts on the market and most of them worked well. The problem always was the same. Trying to configure them to fit your site design was impossible for most store owners and a challenging task for designers.

Last year about this time a friend pointed me to the Avactis Shopping Cart. It was a dream come true. The software runs the program and is easily integrated into any store style.

After a little testing of their demo I saw the potential of making Avactis templates what I call store styles.

The actual difference between a template and store style is actually great. A template is essentially all of the pieces for the design of a website.

My "Store Styles" are full blown site designs with the necessary Avactis Shopping Cart files installed and included.
